Boreal Genomics is proud to announce the release of its Aurora instrument in North America. Extensive testing and early access customer validation of the SCODA technology and the Aurora prototype have led to significant advances in speed, usability, and universality of the technology over a large number of sample types.
The Aurora incorporates new digital high voltage drive electronics for increased electrophoretic stability and resulting increased yield and purity of extracted samples. Early access instrument performance has proven SCODA’s superior ability to extract nucleic acids from samples types ranging from urine to plant tissues. Initially released with a single sample cartridge, an upgrade to four channels will be released by the end of the year.
As with the Aurora prototypes, a built-in camera system allows the user to monitor all stages of a run in real time, for applications where new protocol development is required.
